Tulara warmbloods are bred on a farm near Lake Nillahcootie between Mansfield and Benalla.

The undulating and improved country is ideal for horse raising with excellent nutrition and exercise.

The young horses are placed in rocky hill paddocks when they are young and this teaches them to pick their feet up and watch where they are going. They are placed on the softer country when they require more nutrition.

The property is near Lake Nillahcootie and next to the beautiful Mount Samaria State Forest.
